PET SITTERS

Charlotte Scott Owner/Pet Sitter

Charlotte

Northwest
St. Johns

My name is Charlotte Scott, owner of Paws and Claws Pet Sitting since 2007. I have had a love for animals since I was a little girl. We had tons of animals growing up and from the time I was 4 years old I was bottle feeding kittens and barrel racing horses. We had everything from hamsters, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, goats, cows, horses, rabbits and even geese. After 14 years in corporate America I realized my heart was always somewhere else. I attended Vet Tech school from 2011-2012. I have been a volunteer at the Wildlife Rescue Coalition and even became a foster mom to baby squirrels for 4 years. I have spent time volunteering at the St. Johns County Pet Center helping to socialize their dogs and cats and I currently volunteer at the St. Augustine Humane Society on surgery days by assisting in the recovery area. We take vitals and help bring their body temperatures back to normal as they come out of anesthesia. When you hire me you are not just getting someone who loves pets but someone who has lots of experience in spotting signs of illness or if your pet is in medical danger. Thank you for visiting our page and we look forward to meeting your pets.

I enjoy taking care of and playing with pets. I have owned many dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fresh and salt water fish, turtles, and a rabbit. Currently we have 2 rescued dogs and 2 rescued cats. I had to quit working in Manufacturing Management in July 2016 due to a cancer battle. I am still battling and doing well and spend a lot of time encouraging others with Pancreatic Cancer.

Taking care of pets is enjoyable to me especially the playful ones.

My name is Pat Rountree. Growing up I have always had a deep love for all animals. If a dog or a cat were lost it seemed they always came my way. I retired from Florida East Coast Railway after 30 years. I realized that being retired is great but I needed to be doing things I enjoyed so I became a Nanny. I was so thankful when Charlotte asked me to join her team. It is great to be working with a group of ladies that share the same love and dedication to taking care of your special pets and treat them as our own.

I wake up every day with a smile knowing I will be taking care of a family pet.

My name is Patty Crumb. I am a teacher by trade and although I love children, I also love animals! I have always had cats and dogs as part of my family and currently have three cats and a large breed dog. I have volunteered in pet shelters as well as pet sat for friends and family. When caring for your pets I will treat them as my own, with care and love.

Sarah

My name is Sarah and I am the mom to 2 pups and 4 kitties. I was a pet sitter for Paws and Claws Pet Sitting for 4 years before I had to leave due to health reasons. While I am still not able to pet sit, I am happy to have the opportunity to work for this company again. I will be responsible for schedule changes and updates and administrative work behind the scenes as well as some marketing. I look forward to helping you when Charlotte isn’t able to.

Hello my name is Jennifer, I am 40 years old and have a wonderful husband and 3 amazing children. Ever since I was little, I’ve always loved animals, any and all kinds. I wanted to become a Veterinarian but schooling was too costly for my family, so I compensated by taking in any pets I could. I had many pets growing up and throughout my adulthood. Pet sitting has brought so much joy and happiness to my heart. At first it was just a job to get out of the house since my youngest is now in kindergarten and my days were boring sitting at home. Now, I can’t wait to start the day and see all the adorable fur babies I get to visit. Pet sitting has brought back the joy and love that I felt as a little kid, back into my life.
