Meet The Owner

Charlotte Scott - Owner with bentley

My name is Charlotte Scott, owner of Paws and Claws Pet Sitting. A little history of how I started this venture. I grew up on a farm with cows, horses, goats, rabbits, dogs, cats, geese, etc. I have had a love and passion for animals since I was little. I went to college and got my Bachelors in Business Administration and spent a little over 14 years in Corporate America. After years of misery and witnessing the constant layoffs I was ready and in a better position to follow my dreams. In July 2007 I made the decision to provide an alternative to boarding, as that is not always the best option for every pet.

Through the years I have also spent time volunteering at the Wildlife Rescue Coalition, St. John’s County Pet Center and St. Augustine Humane Society. In 2011 I attended Vet Tech School for the sole reason of learning and expanding my knowledge to help in the care of my client’s pets. I still continue with educational training through Pet Sitters International (PSI).
